Biography
Juan Carlos Hernandez Barraza is a bilingual and bicultural Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Addiction Counselor Candidate. Juan Carlos grew up in Eagle County and graduated from Vail Mountain School. He focusses on trauma, anxiety, depression, use disorders, identity development, and working with diverse and underserved communities. He utilizes narrative, cognitive behavioral, motivational interviewing, and existential approaches. He is passionate about inclusion and equity work, and provides an empathetic space in the work he does with folks.
