Masks are recommended at the Shaw Cancer Center facilities for all patients that are unvaccinated for the COVID-19 virus and/or are experiencing symptoms of any respiratory illness. Individuals are encouraged to wear masks as they see appropriate within their own comfort level, including:
  • You have any respiratory symptoms.
  • You have been recently exposed to a respiratory illness.
  • You are not up-to-date on recommended vaccinations.
  • You are immunocompromised.
Please communicate any respiratory protection needs to staff.

COVID Vaccine Information

As of September 11, 2023 CMM is pausing the administering COVID-19 injections as we await the new approved vaccines which are designed to protect against the latest coronavirus strains and blunt any surge this fall and winter. When we receive the new, updated formulations we will update this site with more information.
