Otolaryngology is the surgical subspecialty of the medical and surgical management of disorders of the ear, nose and throat (ENT). Common ear diseases treated include hearing loss, ringing in the ears (tinnitus), ear pain, ear infections and dizziness. Nasal problems include nasal obstruction, nasal allergy and sinus infections. Throat concerns include sore throats, tonsillitis, hoarseness, swallowing disorders and chronic cough. ENT specialists are also trained in the evaluation of lumps and bumps in the head and neck, including neck masses, skin lesions and lesions in the mouth or throat.

Colorado Mountain Medical's ENT specialists treat both pediatric and adult patients.

ENT Treatments: VivAer and RhinAer

Colorado Mountain Medical offers VivAer and RhinAer treatments to address common ENT problems. VivAer is long-lasting, non-surgical, in-office treatment for nasal airway obstruction (NAO), a condition with symptoms including nasal congestion, the feeling of a blocked nose, difficulty sleeping and mouth breathing during exercise or everyday activities. During a VivAer treatment, an ENT specialist uses an instrument to gently remodel nasal passages and improve airflow. Typically, the treatment has minimal discomfort and allows patients to return quickly to normal activities.

RhinAer is a comprehensive, non-invasive solution that provides relief for a condition known as nonallergic rhinitis, which has symptoms including a chronic stuffy nose, post-nasal drip, congestion or a chronic clearing of the throat. During a RhinAer treatment, an ENT specialist uses an instrument to reduce unwanted mucus flow or help relieve congestion. Following the procedure, patients usually have minimal or no downtime.

Schedule a consultation today with Colorado Mountain Medical to determine if VivAer or RhinAer could help improve an ENT issue that you are experiencing.

A Team Approach

Colorado Mountain Medical's Team Approach Makes Getting Care Convenient & Quick

If you are having difficulty getting an appointment with a physician at Colorado Mountain Medical, consider scheduling with an Advanced Practice Provider (APP). APPs are Physician Assistants (PAs) or Nurse Practitioners (NPs) who are essential members of your physician’s team. Due to their specialized training and credentials, APPs help manage the majority of cases while collaborating closely with physicians. APPs and physicians share caseloads to improve patient access and provide the same great quality of care that your physician would provide.

Jennifer Pope is an otolaryngology APP at Colorado Mountain Medical who works with physicians Dr. Seibert and Dr. Strahan. To learn more about the training, credentials and level of medical care offered by different types of providers, please visit our Choosing Your Provider page.
